Car Crashes Remind Us of The Sanctity of Life

Wow, there’s nothing like a car crash to remind you that you’re alive, right?  They’re awful and when you see one it’s like a smash in the face it sticks with you and then you think about it again and again when you’re pouring coffee in the morning or talking with a coworker or whatever.  People seek them out, “crash watchers” live for the crashes, they feed off it, it makes them whole.  A simple youtube search reveals our inner demons:

It’s freakish, really, and yet we love it.  We love it, we love to know that the other people are injured but we’re safe, and maybe next time it will be us but for now let’s just keep listening to “The Boys Round here,” and actually, let’s crank it up louder and maybe speed up to get to our destination because maybe we don’t want to be on the road much anymore right now.
